Hi, I’m Andre Chapman, a passionate genealogist dedicated to helping people uncover the stories of their ancestors and connect with their roots. My journey into genealogy began with a deeply personal quest sparked by my grandfather, Raymond Chapman. On his deathbed, he shared his longing to know more about his father, James Chapman. I set out on a mission to find those answers, but despite countless hours of research, I wasn’t able to uncover the full story before my grandfather passed. Even after his death, I’ve remained committed to the journey — determined to honor his memory and uncover the truth.
My grandaunt Evelyn also inspired my love for genealogy. Her questions about her father, Bennie Clardy, remain unanswered to this day, and her curiosity further fueled my desire to dig into the past, preserve family legacies, and uncover the stories that deserve to be told.
In my day job, I work as a full-time Chief Investigator. The skills and tools I’ve honed in the investigations trade — analyzing records, following complex trails, and piecing together scattered clues — have translated seamlessly into my genealogical pursuits. I apply these same techniques to track down elusive ancestors, uncover hidden stories, and build detailed family histories for my clients.
